Eagle Two Discovery

Summary

In February 2008, Noront made its second nickel-copper discovery two kilometres southwest of Eagle One.

This discovery, Eagle Two, supports the theory that the Ring of Fire may host several sulphide rich deposits. Similar to Eagle One, shallow mineralization was encountered 39 metres below surface. Highlighted assay results from Eagle Two include 34 metres of 0.6% nickel and 6 metres of 2.2% nickel.

Noront continues to delineate this mineralization to depth in search of a sulphide rich feeder.
